Jack’s Coffee
About This Spot
Nestled within the historic Sølvgade Barracks near the gentle hum of Copenhagen’s museums, Jack’s Coffee feels like a quiet pause amidst a day of exploration. The moment you enter through the iron gates and find your way inside, there’s an unassuming warmth that invites you to slow down. It’s a space that hums softly—a blend of steady conversation, the occasional clink of coffee cups, and the rustle of pages from travelers or locals quietly savoring their break.
This cozy coffee shop thrives on a calm, welcoming rhythm. Whether you’re stepping in to escape the bustle of nearby cultural landmarks or simply looking for a familiar nook, Jack’s offers an atmosphere that is both comforting and refreshingly unpretentious. The pace feels unhurried but attentive—where the people behind the counter greet you with genuine kindness, and the scent of freshly brewed coffee gently lingers just long enough to stir a quiet anticipation.
The experience here reaches beyond the cup. Alongside carefully crafted coffees, you’ll find thoughtful touches in their simple yet satisfying offerings—a pastry that pairs perfectly with the day’s brew or a modest sandwich that feels like a genuine midday treat. It’s the kind of place where a moment spent waiting or resting becomes part of the journey itself, whether that’s outside on a sunny seat or inside where the light filters softly through the windows.
Jack’s Coffee carries a subtle charm, a blend of practicality and comfort for visitors and locals alike. It’s a thoughtful respite—one that doesn’t just fuel your day but encourages a brief, meaningful pause amidst the city’s rhythm.

I stumbled on this place and was absolutely thrilled with the kindness of the employee, vibe of the space, and how tasty and pastry was. This makes for a great location to wait if you are checking out nearby museums or Rosenberg case.

A charming and cozy cafe, perfect for grabbing a coffee while visiting the nearby museums. It’s a great spot to avoid the long queues at the museum cafes. The cafe also offers delicious small bites and has a convenient to-go option with a serving window. Sells exotic cafe for grinding on top.

Lovely little spot near the castle, not many choices but sandwich was great, 3 beers to choose from, pastry ⭐, and plenty of tables. Good to go window can easily be seen from the street, enter through the gate to see the door to the full café.

Got here to buy lunch during my excursion and I don’t regret it one bit. The food was amazing and the atmosphere cozy. I talked a bit with the barista and got recommended to visit SMK’s garden, which was beautiful. Would love to visit again in the future :)

very good cinnamon bun and decent matcha (could have been mixed more), outdoor seating, fast service

The iced latte I got here was surprisingly one of the best I ever had in cph. And if you’re a DIS student, you can get a discount! They have so many pastries too. I’d come here again, especially bc the location is so close to a lot of cool things like the SMK and king’s garden.
